On March 20th, the list of BrandZ™ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2017 identified by WPP and Kantar Millward Brown through their joint research was announced in Beijing. Mengniu and Fulinmen were among the brands with outstanding performance.
Mengniu Dairy ranked the 19th for its brand value of USD 5.023 billion (an increase of 6% year-on-year). As the number one brand in food and dairy sector with the most brand contribution, it has been listed among the top 20 of BrandZ™ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands for three successive years.
As the only edible oil brand that made to the list for seven years in a row, Fulinmen ranked the 84th for its brand value which grew by 10% up to USD 373 million. Its ranking rose by five spots compared with that of 2016.
The valuations in this BrandZ™ report are based on financial data such as revenue and profitability as well as researches on consumers’ perception of brands.
